In the Track view, select the track you want to see, then choose Views > Piano Roll View or press ALT+3
In the Track view, right-click on a track and choose Views > Piano Roll from the pop-up menu
In a soft synth’s property page, click the Open View button to open the default MIDI editing view.
Note: When you initially open the Piano Roll view, you can choose to show all tracks, or only the tracks that are selected at the time you open the Piano Roll view. To do so, click the Piano Roll view View menu and select Filter to Selection On Open.

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
