Open the Step Sequencer by using the Views > Step Sequencer command or by double-clicking on a Step Sequencer clip.If an existing Step Sequencer clip is selected, the Views > Step Sequencer command will open the selected Step Sequencer clip. If no Step Sequencer slip is selected, the Views > Step Sequencer command will create a new Step Sequencer clip.The Views > Step Sequencer command is disabled if multiple Step Sequencer clips are selected.

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
