Sonar must be activated in order to unlock all available features, such as saving and exporting. If Sonar is installed on a computer that is not connected to the internet, you can use the Help > Offline Activation > Import Activation Response command to import an activation file that was created on a different online computer.

Note: If you prefer to always use offline Help, go to Edit > Preferences > File > Advanced in your Cakewalk software and select Always Use Offline Help.
If you are not connected to the internet, your Cakewalk software will default to showing offline help until an internet connection becomes available.
