1. Right-click the Video view and choose Video Properties from the pop-up menu to open the Video Properties dialog box.
2. On the Render Quality tab of the dialog box, under External DV Output, enter an offset number in the Video Sync Offset field. The number you enter here causes the Video to start playing sooner than the audio. It’s helpful if your video has some pre-roll footage that contains a visual sync point.
3. Click OK to close the dialog box. Play your video, and readjust the Video Sync Offset number as needed.
