RecordingCreating a new project ► Setting the audio sampling rate and bit depth

Each Sonar project has an audio sample rate (see Sampling rate) and an audio driver bit depth (see Bit depth) that indicate the level of accuracy with which audio data are sampled and processed. The same parameters are used for all the digital audio in a project. When you create a new project, if you do not want to use the default setting, you must choose a sampling rate before you start recording audio.
1.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Audio - Driver Settings.
2.
Select a value in the Sampling Rate drop-down menu, and a value from the Audio Driver Bit Depth drop-down menu.
