Is it possible to install the Rapture Pro multisample library on a separate hard drive?
Yes. During installation, Rapture Pro will prompt you to select a location for the multisample library.
Is Cakewalk Command Center needed to install and authorize Rapture Pro?
Cakewalk Command Center is required to authorize Rapture Pro. While people who purchase this synth can download it from their Cakewalk accounts, without Command Center, Rapture Pro will run in demo mode.
Upgrading from Dimension Pro or Rapture Classic
Will Dimension Pro and Rapture Classic expansion packs be available in Rapture Pro?
Yes. All expansion pack content for Dimension Pro and Rapture Classic that was installed before Rapture Pro will be automatically migrated and available in the Browser.
Will expansion packs for Dimension LE and Rapture LE also automatically migrate?
Expansion packs for Dimension LE and Rapture LE are not automatically migrated into Rapture Pro, but it is possible to use them. The easiest way to use these packs is to download the new installer from your Cakewalk account and re-install them.
All expansion pack installers were updated for Rapture Pro, so be certain to re-install using an installer from your account and not one that has been downloaded previously. Earlier expansion pack installers will not work with Rapture Pro.
Will Dimension Pro and Rapture Classic factory content be available in Rapture Pro?
Yes. Just like expansion packs, all factory content from Dimension Pro and Rapture Classic that was installed before Rapture Pro will be automatically migrated.
Note that the Legacy Content Packs Vol 1–3 included with Rapture Pro contain the Dimension Pro and Rapture Classic factory content. If Rapture Pro is being installed fresh, Dimension Pro and Rapture Classic factory content is available in these packs.
