Cakewalk® Expands SONAR/Project5 Station Program in U.S. Music Stores

BOSTON, MA (November 21, 2003)—Cakewalk, developer of the world's best-selling music and sound software for Windows-based PCs, expands its in-store SONAR Station PC Kiosk program to additional music retailers across the nation. Each new SONAR/Project5 Station is equipped with a MusicXPC Professional computer powered by Intel® Pentium® 4 2.5 GHz processors along with the Edirol UA-1000 USB2 audio interface, PCR-30 MIDI controller, and MA-20D speakers.

The new SONAR Stations have supplied Sam Ash locations nationally, two West LA Music locations, and Washington Music in Wheaton, MD with Intel Pentium 4 processor-based MusicXPC computers pre-installed with SONAR 3 Producer Edition, Cakewalk's flagship digital music production software and Project5, Cakewalk's soft synth workstation.
