Based on the same pristine sound engine as Cakewalk’s flagship Rapture Pro, this easy-to-use affordable synth includes a 4 GB library with 450 hand-crafted presets, advanced browser for fast searches and previews, and a stage-oriented Live Performance Control page that exposes crucial parameters for expressive, real-time control. It’s compatible with sound expansion packs for Rapture Pro, Dimension Pro, Rapture, and Cakewalk Sound Center ? making it an extremely versatile, useful, and above all, expandable synth that can suit a variety of musical and audio-for-video needs.
Along with its ease of use, Rapture Session now supports the AAX format for Pro Tools compatibility. This same format capability has been added to Rapture Pro and the legendary Z3TA+2 synths. In addition to AAX support for Pro Tools, Rapture Session incorporates an intuitive interface that was designed for ease of use. Users can organize by Bank, Type and Program, but can also sort by alphabet and frequency of use. Two X/Y Pads and a Vector Mixer can easily be mapped and manipulated by a controller, making Rapture Session the perfect instrument for both the studio or live performance.
